OK...I have read all the FAQ's, I've been to all the sites... and still I
can't solve this problem.
I post to this list as a last resort mechanism...after this, it's off to the
funny farm for me!
Background info: Running Majordomo 1.94.4 on LINUX (RedHat 5.2), perl
5.005_03
I have setup a test list, I can list it, subscribe to it, unsibscribe to it,
etc...
But when I try to send a message to it, I get the following error message...

Now, I can send mail to majordomo@decmedia2.dec.monash.edu.au, but not to
test@decmedia2.dec.monash.edu.au
Here is the majordomo.aliases file...
test: "|/usr/lib/majordomo/wrapper resend -l test test-list"
test-list: :include:/var/lib/majordomo/lists/test
owner-test: andrewn,
test-owner: andrewn
test-request: "|/usr/lib/majordomo/wrapper request-answer test"
test-approval: andrewn
These aliases have been compiled with 'newaliases'
Now, when I send mail from the machine that majordomo is hosted from
(decmedia2.dec.monash.edu.au) as user (say andrewn - who is subscribed to
the list, this works. (ie. mail to test@decmedia2.dec.monash.edu.au)
But, when I send mail to test@decmedia2.dec.monash.edu.au from my machine, I
get the error message that I listed above.
I have even added all of my email addresses to the test list for
completeness, but still no joy!
I have checked permissions, checked wrappers permissions and test,
re-installed majrodomo 2 times, searched all the FAQ's, watched the postings
to this for 5 days, and am now officailly at my wits end.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
