Well, you could configure an email alias "phreatic-sub" for "majordomo".
That is, all emails to phreatic-sub would go to majordomo. However,
Majordomo wouldn't know anything about this alias so all the subscribe
commands etc. would still need to use "subscribe phreatic", a simple
"subscribe" wouldn't work. Also Majordomo itself would use the
"Majordomo" email address in all the instruction emails.
