Redhat 6.0
Majordomo 1.94.4
Here is the error I get when sending commands to majordomo:
sh: wrapper not available for sendmail programs
554 "|/usr/lib/majordomo/majordomo/wrapper majordomo"... Service unavailable
I found this is in the archives:
2.11 - I get "sh: wrapper not available for sendmail programs"
You're on a system which uses smrsh. (sendmail restricted shell). You
have to configure smrsh to allow it to execute the wrapper. Normally
this is done by creating a symlink in /var/adm/sm.bin to Majordomo's
wrapper program.
The thing that creeps me out is that Majordomo is actually located in
/usr/lib/majordomo and not in /usr/lib/majordomo/majordomo/ like the error
message is displaying...so is it a problem with not having the symlink(if
so, can someone tell me how to create it? as near as i can tell I do not
have sm.bin) or is it a problem with /etc/aliases or maybe majordomo.cf?
And, btw, /etc/aliases contains:
majordomo: "|/usr/lib/majordomo/wrapper majordomo"
I am absolutely green on this list, I signed up about three minutes after
I found that entry in the archives, please ignore any jackassedness that i
might put forth...
