You may find no difference. OK... However, I do find a difference - otherwise
why there's an _unnecessary_ header which might mislead the brand new listmember?
I run a _closed_ (= approval required) mailing list, and some unexperienced
listmembers inadvertently (and perhaps quickly) replies to my WELCOME message
saying e.g. "Thank you". This happens more often than not, perhaps the WELCOME
message __EXPLICITLY__ tells this new listmember to REPLY TO majordomo@mydomain.org.
This header _EXPLICITLY_ suggests the subscriber where to reply to -- whatever
the content of his/her message, and this is wrong. WITHOUT the REPLY TO the brand
new (candid) listmember is __NOT encouraged__ to reply to majordomo@mydomain.org.
As you see, there is, at least, a psychological difference (implicit vs explicit).
But let me remind you that all these 'disquisitions' are far beyond my interests.
You're missing the real issue of my mail. What I do care, in fact, what I am (was)
actually interested in is (was):

    (1) __HOW__ could I send a WELCOME message __WITHOUT__ the "Reply-To:" header
(and not __ENCOURAGING__ the absent-minded reader where to reply)

or better:

    (2) __HOW__ could I send a WELCOME message __WITH__ the a header saying:

                 Reply-To: ABC-owner@mydomain.org

You may ask "why" I do want this. Well... that's not the point, is it? I __just__
want to know __HOW__ (if possible); "why" (or which advantages that option might
have TO ME) is another question.

One Majordomo-User listmember already suggested to me that I should "Rewrite the
software." Well, that IS an answer, after all. And, if _that_ is _the_ answer,
_that_ was just what I wanted to learn.

Many thanks.

Sincerely yours,
Julio Gonzalez Cabillon
