Hi,

We recently had a problem with duplicated messages on one of our
Majordomo mailing lists which was tracked down to a new subscriber who
was using MDaemon.

A search of the majordomo-users archives revealed that discussion of
MDaemon problems has come up a couple of times before (but not very
recently).

Since MDaemon seems to be widely used and at least some of its users
seem to be able to subscribe to mailing lists without causing mayhem
(!) I was wondering:

Are recent versions of MDaemon better behaved with regard to mailing
lists (i.e. should I advise our subscriber to upgrade?) or are
potential problems being caught by use of loop detectors in mailing
list mail headers? (presumably I should do this post haste anyway!!)

Thanks,
-- Aideen
