Subject: Restricting access to list

We are running AIX 4.3.2 with the majordomo-1.94.3

We have a list containing 2000 student address and we would like to make
this list read only by the students. To prevent "spamming" a few key
university officals need to be able to "post" to the list as a means of
broadcasting a message.

I attempted to place the names of these officials in a file calles
student_list.restrict and use the restrict_post =
student_list.restrict. However, this did not work?

Is there anyway to make a list read-only and to enable posting by one or
two people who my not necessarily belong to the list?

Thanks
