Let me do the test now. This was working fine with sendmail 8.9.2
and majordomo 1.9.4.4.
As defined in /usr/local/majordomo/aliases.majordomo and I did
newaliases just to make sure the database is up to date.

The actual name of the machine is earth.GAIANET.NET and
mail.GAIANET.NET is just a CNAME in the DNS and majordomo.cf does have
mail.GAIANET.NET defined.
I'll do a test now to both fwong@mail.GAIANET.NET which uses
majordomo and then fwong-outgoing@mail.GAIANET.NET which should bypass
majordomo altogether.
The test to fwong-outgoing@mail.GAIANET.NET seems to work
correctly as it generates only one copy of the message.
