Subject: ownership issues

I have a list that I own and someone else moderates. The list is password
protected but today I sent to the list, without a password, and it went. I
didn't intend to send to the list: I thought it would bounce. Could
someone explain why I can send to the list?

Is there anyway to transfer ownership of a list or make it so the
moderator can send without a password? This would be tremendously helpful,
because this moderator uses Outlook which makes putting the password
header in difficult. I'm a UNIX person so I was able to just add a header
to pine, but it would be helpful if the moderator could also send without
a password.

The fact that the owner can send without a password caught me off guard.

Does anyone have recommendations on majordomo documentation other than the
man page? I really need to understand majordomo better than I do at this
point.

Thanks

Neil
