Do you mean that local users cannot send to the list, or that local users
don't get mail from the list?
I the first case check that sendmail is SUID to root. In the second case
check if procmail is SUID root. Don't just set procmail SUID without
making sure that it should be, but if you use procmail as the mail
delivery program in Mlocal in sendmail.cf, I think it should be SUID to
root.
