I've just installed Majordomo (1.94.4) on my system (Linux/Sendmail) and am
having a bit of a problem subscribing to the list.
I've created a list in /path/to/majordomo/lists/, used the "touch
/file/path/name" command and sent email to Majordomo with the lists command
in the body. I received a message back, telling me what lists are on the
system and have tried subscribing, but when I do this, I receive an error:

**** subscribe: unknown list 'LISTNAME'.

With the help file attached.
It appears that Majordomo isn't recognising the list and I can't figure out
why. I thought that I had run through the set-up, exactly as it says (but
obviously not).
Any ideas?
