Hi:
Sorry to have to resort to the mailing list, but I've already read the
README, INSTALL, and FAQ while trying to resolve my problem.
The admin and remote functions of majordomo appear to work fine, and when I
run the test program, it says there are no problems. However, when I post
to the list, I get the following error:
----- Transcript of session follows -----
550 :include:/usr/local/majordomo-1.94.4/lists/linux ... Cannot open
/usr/local/majordomo-1.94.4/lists/linux: Group writable directory
Message delivered to mailing list <linux@somedomain.net>
554 <linux@somedomain.net>... aliasing/forwarding loop broken
After reading all of the FAQ's, it does appear that the file/directory
permissions are probably incorrect, but I'm not sure what they should
be. I've tried loosening up the permissions, but it doesn't seem to help.
I'm using:
Majordomo 1.94.4
Perl 5.005
RedHat Linux 6.1 (I compiled the tarball myself... this is NOT the rpm version)
Sendmail
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks,
Jason
