Subject: adding functionality to BOUNCE messages

Right now "bounced" messages are going to list-owners which is ok. I'd like
also to have a short response go to the sender explaining why their message
hasn't gone out (message too long, header too long, non-member submission,
etc.). Is this a service Majordomo provides? If not, does anyone have any
ideas on how to approach this? I thought about just sending the BOUNCE messages
back to the sender as well but am afraid that maight confuse people and result
in more phone calls to me : ). As for the majordomo program, does anyone know
if there is a particular subroutine that is resposible for sending the BOUNCE
messages? I guess I'd rather not get into that, but I wouldn't think it would
be too big of a deal to change.
Thanks,
-brian
