Hello everyone. I am new to this list and I hope I'm not asking a question that the answer can be found real easily. I"ve rtfm'd and still can't find the answer to
this. My aliases on my linux box are working fine except for the mailing list ones. I have a utility called webmin which has majordomo support and I've used this
to create a new list and also made the aliases by hand per the NEW-LIST file in the distrib for majordomo-1.94.4. I used to have this mailing list working on my
previous linux box but I recently reinstalled everything. I get the alias loop broken error. In the faq it statws that if you get this error it's usually caused by
permissions not set correctly. Per the faq I've checked and rechecked the permissions to make sure they are correct. I'm running majordomo and
majordom.daemon for owner.group. Like I said this was working on my previous linux box but not on this one and things are setup the right way so it seems.
Emails to firstname.lastname@example.org work fine but any email specifically to the mailing list I've created do not. I can post the extracts of my log if I need to so
that the problem can be further trouble-shot.
Thanks for any help...
I'm using slackware linux 7.0 on a p100 machine.
