As a newbie I would appreciate some guidance.
I have set up a list for an organisation who get a lot of traffic on
their web site and about a dozen people joining their list each day. I am
using a great little cgi script that allows people just to enter their
email address in a text field and click GO. This subscribes them to the
list.
But for some reason, maybe because many non-English speakers are using
the site, quite a number of the email addresses are wrong. Majordomo
seems to reformat the address and put my domain (businessdata.com) in as
the 2nd part of the address ie trashaddress@businessdata.com.
Therefore all the messages like the foll come through to me:
>>>> subscribe mlmworld trashaddress@businessdata.com
**** Your request to Majordomo@businessdata.com:
****
**** subscribe mlmworld secres@businessdata.com
****
**** must be authenticated.
How do I stop this, or at the least get these routed to the list owner?
