I have tried to get majordomo running and having problems. I know it must
be something obvious staring me right in the eye. We are also running
sendmail 8.9.2 Here is my setup:
drwxrwxr-x 7 smtp majordom 1024 Jan 24 07:59 majordomo
drwxrwxrwx 3 smtp majordom 7680 Jan 24 07:59 lists
example of a list
-rwxr--r-- 1 majordom majordom 3863 Jan 19 15:11 tec2008
-rwxr--r-- 1 root other 9 Jan 18 15:44 tec2008.admin
-rwxr--r-- 1 root other 14828 Aug 16 13:58 tec2008.config
-rwxr--r-- 1 root other 137 Aug 16 13:58 tec2008.info
-rwxr-xr-- 1 majordom majordom 0 Jan 20 08:51 tec2008.new
-rwxr--r-- 1 root other 9 Aug 16 13:58 tec2008.passwd

Checking to see if there are new variables that should be in

Have you configured where Majordomo is?
$whereami is fresno.edu
Good: yup!
----------------------- end of tests -----------------------
Nothing bad found! Majordomo _should_ work correctly.
If it doesn't, check your configuration file
(/usr/local/majordomo/majordomo.cf)
closely, and if it still looks okay, consider asking the majordomo-users
mailing list at "majordomo-users@greatcircle.com" for assistance. Be sure
and fully specify what your problems are, and what type of machine (and
operating system) you are using.
Enjoy!
