majordomo version: majordomo-1.94.5
perl version: per 5.004m4
OS and version: Red hat Linux release 5.2/ kernel 2.0.36
mailer ans version: sendmail 8.8.7
PROBLEM:
1. When I susbscribe to the maling list I created, even if I set the
mailinglist.config to be auto+confirm, it doesn't send confirmation note,
it just sends the following:
Subject: Majordomo Results
>>>>> subscribe [mailinglist name]
Then when I check the cd /lists for the mailinglist my email add was not
added.
2. when i checked the /var/log/maillog this error appears:
DSN: unknown mailer error 9
3. when I manually run, ./wrapper majordomo, the following appears:
Susbtitution loop @ /home/majordomo/majordomo.pl line 122, <> chunk 1
Please be warned that I don't have background with perl programming.
I desperately need help. Please reply soon!
