Hi majordomo-users. This seems like a problem with an obvious solution,
but I have been banging my head against the wall for a couple of hours
now and have not found the answer. I installed majordomo 1.94 on my
Linux box via an RPM file. (This is my first experience with
majordomo.) I have set up a list called "testing", following each step
in the directions carefully. I have compared my setup with that on
another Linux box. My /etc/aliases and /etc/majordomo.cf files are (as
far as I can tell) set up properly. Yet I keep getting an error when I
submit a message to the testing list to the effect that "wrapper is not
available for sendmail programs"; note that I got exactly the same
message when, in mucking with the /etc/aliases file, I had specified the
wrong directory for wrapper -- one that didn't even exist. So it is as
if wrapper isn't being found. Yet it is indeed there in the specified
directory (/usr/lib/majordomo), with the correct permissions.
I would really appreciate some suggestions here. I include the error
message I get when I try to subscribe to the list in question below; I
get a similar message no matter what I send to the list. Can anyone see
what might be wrong? I'd be much obliged.
