It shows up as Reply-To sender because it doesn't include a default
Reply-To.  Your MUA guesses that's who you want to reply to.  When I
used my ISP's mail server, he had it configured to automatically add the
Reply-To.  SCREWY!  Since I switched over to serving my own mail with
sendmail, it is much better.

FWIW, I have our LUG's majordomo configured for Reply-To list.  If
somebody posts a message that they intended to be private email, then
that's what they get for not paying attention (that attitude will
probably bite me one day though :)
