More on attachment-filtering

Some time ago I got help with attachment-filtering.
After correction via the list here, I added the following
in the config-file, both under taboo_body and taboo_headers:
/^content-type:\s*application\/msword\//i
And today two word-documents got through, and they both
contained the expression that was supposed to be filtered.
Why doesn't it work?
Why is it so difficult? (no, don't answer that)
