I can't help you with postfix Grace, but I have seen a lot of 
message traffic at redhat.com about using it with majordomo.

Updating your .config files requires mailto:majordomo@yourhost.net
with
writeconfig listname listpassword
writeconfig listtwo listtwopassword
writeconfig otherlist otherpassword
...

Now, about that resend line you are using...
You used the MajorDomoCreate script in the RPM right?
Any values in the test.config file for -p (precedence), 
-M (maxlength), -f (sender), or -h (resend_host)
will override the values you put on the alias line.
To make matters worse, any line with blank values in 
the .config will "undefine" that value, so it is 
pointless to use them outside the .config file.

This information is explained inside the resend perl
script itself and highly discourages the use of any
arguments except the required -l listname argument.
All other parameters should be in the .config file.
