Did you copy majordomo from the other box to the new box, or did you
do a fresh make install?
If you copied from another system, make sure your uid.gid is the same
for majordomo on both machines. Make sure you preserved ownership and
permissions on the files and directories when you copied them over.
Is your /etc/smrsh/wrapper link uid.gid 0.0? I doubt sendmail caches
the information, but your wrapper is not recognized, or you would not
be getting the error. Maybe you should kill -1 sendmail.pid?
