Note: I think you mean $SENDER.   If your list is called
foo@mozart.freeserve.co.uk, then the Reply-To will now become
owner-foo@mozart.freeserve.co.uk (unless you've changed the
value for "sender" further down in the <list>.config file).

Whether this is "better" depends on the purpose of your list.
