I am not so much concerned about the 'success'
confirmation email that is returned to the subscriber.
I would like to change the 'welcome' email. When I
subscribed to the majordomo-user mailing list, my
welcome email contained the following:

Here's the general information for the list you've
subscribed to, in case you don't already have it:
Description
===========
The Majordomo-Users mailing list is for discussions
about using the Majordomo mailing list manager.
Examples of relevant topics include questions about
how to set up Majordomo on a particular system, bug
reports, and "tips and tricks"...

My mailing list 'welcome' stops after the 'in case you
don't already have it:'. The way this reads, it seems
like there is something in the configuration that can
be changed to add the information.

I've emailed the owner of the majordomo-user list to
find out what he/she did, but so far, I've had no
response.
