Which is one reason why people shouldn't be complaining. It's free
and if you're not up to helping to improve it you've no right in
criticizing it. I've since moved on to ezmlm but I still use MD for
my largest (6000+) list and I've had no real problems. The real
problem is 'newbies' YES, 'newbies' coming in here expectin some
point/click interface to get it working. If you're lannign on using any
free software, be prepared to get your hands dirty and come here for
help. Hell, try setting up qmail/ezmlm compared to sendmail/MD and
you'll think twice about complaining that MD is difficult.
Sure, MD has some problems and lacks in some key features. I for
one would like to add SQL support for the member list. I could probably
patch it in a day but I'm too busy with work. But you also don't see
me bitching about it.
Jason, et al's done a great job with MD!
