Well, I've run into a few problems and hopefully someone can help me out.
I just installed Majordomo and MajorCool about 2 weeks ago. Just recently I
finally got the archiving to work. After that I went to the MajorCool page
on
my server just to make sure everything was still working, but I can't do
anything but view the main page. If I click on an internal link, it gives me
this error:
: ABORT
shlock: '/usr/local/majordomo-1.94.5' is not writable by UID 99 GID 99
So I looked up user/group 99 and it belongs to 'nobody'. I turned the file
into a group writable directory and it complained about that, so I just
changed
the directory to be owned by 'nobody' just to see what would happen. After
that
I could go throughout the MajorCool web page, but it errored out when ever I
tried to do anything with the /list directory (configure the list, see who's
subscribed to it, etc.). I can't change that directory to be owned by
'nobody' because 'mail' has to own it, and I can't set it to a group
writable
directory without sendmail complaining. So I'm stuck. I can still have
majordomo work just fine but without MajorCool. I would really like
to have both of them working though. I don't understand why 'nobody' has
anything to do with majordomo/majorcool, and why I just all the sudden had
problems with it. Can someone please help me out? Here is a copy of my

I also have one more quick question... Does anyone know what program this
MajorDomo server uses to post the archives on the web, and where to get it?
Or
do you know of another program that will do the same thing? That would be
great, thanks for your help.
