Good morning folks,
What finally worked to get the list going was to delete it totally and reinstall it. I'm sure it's not working with bulk_mailer at this point but it IS working. It was interesting because even after making the aliases and virtmaps identical to working lists, and running alllll the hashs (newaliases, mailhash, makemap, etc.) the list didn't work. Something must have been wrong somewhere else and I have no idea where.
So ezine is working, without bulk_mailer I presume since the aliases necessary for it to run aren't present. This morning I'll run the list in batches to avoid dups and will continue, over the weekend, to research bulk_mailer on a NONCRITICAL list! *grin*
Learned my lesson on that one!
Any url's to bulk_mailer documentation, using majordomo on a virtual server, etc would be greatly appreciated. I'm now in contact with a support person at my isp who is also researching solutions for mailing large lists on virtual servers and we'll see what the two of us can come up with when we put our head together.
Thanks for ALL your help!
HUGS!
Sharon
