Okay, I doubt this is the place to ask, but as I can't find any FAQ and it
has been a topic of discussion recently (which is how I was able to locate
the program in the first place), I was hoping that I might be able to get a
hand. Everything has gone quite well (a much easier install than mj1, and
the feature set looks great), and everything works EXCEPT the shell.
Whenever I try running it it bombs out with a "Unrecognized switch: -bash
(-h will show valid options)". And it exits the current shell (making this
a hard error to read until I su'ed to another user so that the screen
wouldn't clear when the shell died). Specifying -h ends up with the same
result. I am running RedHat v7 and the 2000-09-29 build of mj2. I don't
know the exact versions of everything else, but they are fairly recent,
either included with RH7 or updated manually where needed.

If there is somewhere else I should go (and/or a FAQ for mj2) to get help,
please let me know. Also, why is Majordomo shortened to 'mj' rather than
'md'? Or even 'ma;, since it is actually only one word...

And about the mj2 documentation - I am willing to help write it as SRE was
asking, except that I currently find it voluminous and thorough. If I
should happen to spot any deficiencies, I'll be sure to pass them along, but
so far it is obvious that much time has been spent on it.

Thanks again for any help you can give.
