Good morning,
We have been using the following software/OS for a few years:
$majordomo_version = "1.94-alpha1"
perl, version 5.005_02 built for alpha-dec_osf
O/S: Digital UNIX V4.0D (Rev. 878)
I have recently been assigned to "maintenance" of the Majordomo
Listserv. The problem ...
We have a list that uses "resend" to control the posters to a list. When
an e-mail with a Word attachment is sent to the list, recipients will
either get some MIME boundary markers like:
>--=====================_12250184==_
>Content-Type: application/msword; name="1010agenda.doc";
> x-mac-type="42494E41"; x-mac-creator="4D535744"
>Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="1010agenda.doc"
>
>Coordinator, Courseware Development Center
>Humboldt State University
>
>--=====================_12250184==_--
>
>**** then the actual attachment link here*****
OR they will get the whole attachment included within the e-mail text as
MIME coding. Is this a problem that has been fixed or might it have
something to do with the way we implemented Majordomo years ago?
A simple list that does not utilize "resend" has no problems with
attachments being forwarded properly.
Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
