I don't know how much help I can be (right now anyway) but I can offer some moral support because I am having the same problem.

Subject: Configuration help please
Hi,
I am trying to install Majordomo 1.94.5 on a Sun Enterprise 450 running
Solaris 2.6
It seems to have setup properly and I believe I have everything entered
correctly in the aliases file. I am able to setup a group and join it and
issue commands by sending a message to majordomo@jupiter.novanet.ns.ca. My
problem is that I am unable to send a message to the list. When I try and
send a message from the address I am subscribed from I get the following
sent to the list owner.
The original message was received at Wed, 4 Oct 2000 16:17:54 -0300 (ADT)
from majordom@localhost

As I said earlier I belive I have it setup properly, here is the entry in my
aliases file
novanet: "|/usr/local/majordomo-1.94.5/wrapper resend -l novanet
novanet-list,nobody"
novanet-list: :include:/usr/local/majordomo-1.84.5/lists/novanet
owner-novanet: dylanb@jupiter.novanet.ns.ca
novanet-approval: owner-novanet
novanet-request: "/usr/local/majordomo-1.94.5/wrapper majordomo -l novanet"
and here is the permisions on my lists dir and its files
drwxr-x--x 5 majordom majordom 512 Oct 4 15:38 ../
-rw-rw-r-- 1 majordom majordom 21 Oct 4 15:38 novanet
-rw-rw---- 1 majordom majordom 16504 Oct 4 15:37 novanet.config
-rw-rw-r-- 1 majordom majordom 0 Oct 4 15:34 novanet.info
Based on this does anyone know what my problem is? I appologise for the
long message but I didn't want to accidentally leave out anything that may
be important.
Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dylan
