I would try that. MajorCool needs write access to majordomo files but group permissions of the majordomo directories are readonly (at least at my site). But perhaps there is another problem with the wrapper (.../cgi-bin/majordomo) because it seems to run as nobody/nobody. Maybe you need to install or configure the suEXEC feature of Apache (but I'm unsure about this because I had done this before).
