Hi Dan!
my main domain is family-connection.net which is the domain where the mailing list resides. familyc is the group name on my server (which is virtually hosted).
franklinlibrary is the name of the list and it runs from family-connection.net which is the main domain. It's tough to say in a virtual environment, but I'd call that local since the error message is from familyc the user group for family-connection.net.
tfcemail.net is a virtual host of family-connection.net. It has an altered MX record to point to everyone.net servers for email processing. tfcemail.net is only used for the free email service and shouldn't share any other email functions with family-connection.net (though it might be if I've made an error in configuration). In other words.. tfcemail.net is not supposed to touch ANY email functions on family-connection.net (or familyc). It should operate "stand alone" in respect to email.
I checked sendmail.cw and tfcemail.net is in the list. Maybe it shouldn't be? I can't think of any function I run, no scripts, or anything else, that wouldn't utilize sendmail at tfcemail.net. If it's not in sendmail maybe majordomo won't treat it as local and it'll work fine.
Did I answer all the questions?
Hugs!
Sharon

I've been able to send email from that address to the list without a problem. It's a web based account and not a pop account but so is hotmail.com and iname.com right? No problem with email to them.
