I don't think you need to cower; I think that knowing what the
"competition" (as it were) does is an important part of knowing a
product, and I'd think the main purpose of this list is to help us "know
the product" (someone correct me if I'm wrong <smile>).
I'm a tool-user, and I've been using Majordomo for a long time. We host
a bunch of lists, some commercially, and some ourselves, using
Majordomo, and I've made a nice little business of installing Majordomo
(a copy that actually works, anyway) into the "Cobalt" line of linux
server-appliances, since the copy that comes with it is hopelessly tied
into the Cobalt gui interface; when I originally asked Cobalt tech
support how to make changes to my majordomo lists they responded that
the Majordomo defaults installed in the Cobalt RaQs weren't really
changeable. I'm also a businessman, and as a businessman, I market a
mail-server/mail-list server/pop3-server combination which runs on the
Windows (95 through 2000) platform.
As easy as it is to set up a list on our Windows-based product, to this
day I run lists on Majordomo, because of familiarity.
I'd have to say "evaluate away", and use the product that works best for
you.
That said, I must admit I don't know the competition well enough to know
if Exchange2000 will do what you want <frown>.
