Not sure what you mean by "simplify the access".  It's pretty 
simple already.  Anyone with the password can post to the list.
Anyone with the password can approve a message before it even 
BOUNCEs.  Anyone with the password can modify the config files.
Maybe you want the list moderated rather than closed.  Maybe 
you want the list private, where list members have something
to say rather than moderation.

Of course.  Anything is achievable.  But is it wise?  If you 
have to make things that simple for the moderator, do you have
the right person for the job?  Or for that matter, why bother
moderating at all?
