Hi All,

After setting up Majordomo I configured my list to only allow users to post
if they were in a listuser.txt (restrict_post=listuser.txt) file which is
separate from the actual mailing list(listusers). This way only the person
in the access file can send to the list however anyone can zub or unzub.
After testing I thought all was ok.

What I have found is, only the user listed in the access file can post to
the mailing list, however if someone sends to listusers-list alias then
everyone in the mailing list gets a copy, it's like the list never looks at
the listuser.txt file.

Sorry if this question is a simple aliasing problem, I just don't get it.

Thank you for any help,

Rick Gocher

Sample alias
listusers:"|/usr/local/majordomo-1.94.5/wrapper resend -l listusers
listusers-list"
listusers-list: :include:/usr/local/majordomo-1.94.5/lists/listusers
owner-listusers: admin@coptalk.com
listusers-owner: admin@coptalk.com
listusers-request: "|/usr/local/majordomo-1.94.5/wrapper majordomo -l
listusers"
listusers-approval: admin@coptalk.com
