I hope my last posts didnt show up... if they did- please
excuse the multiple posts, this is my last try.
Our formerly working Majordomo is now broken.
I've read everything I could find and understand about
fixing it with no success. Here is my problem.
I am running Majordomo version 1.94.4 with Perl 5 under
Linux on a Cobalt Raq2 (MIPS based) box with Sendmail 8.9.3
We've made lots of changes lately- I don't know what I've
done that could have caused the error.
checking with "config-test" reports no problems.
# grep aliases.majordomo /etc/sendmail.cf
gives me
O AliasFile=/etc/aliases.majordomo
# newaliases
gave me something like
/etc/aliases: 54 aliases, longest 34 bytes, 1267 bytes total
/etc/aliases.majordomo: 120 aliases, longest 83 bytes, 6320
bytes total
there is a line in /etc/aliases.majordomo that says:
majordomo: "|/usr/local/majordomo/wrapper majordomo"
if I telnet in to my box and type "echo 'help'|mail
majordomo"
I DO get the correct help file sent to me via email - and
this is an outside email address on another machine.
BUT when I send any email to "majordomo@ourdomain.com" I get
<majordomo@ourdomain.com>:
222.222.222.222 does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 550 <majordomo@ourdomain.com>... User
unknown
Giving up on 222.222.222.222.
Can someone please help me out here?
