Changing the name of a box has several requirements. Did
you fill all of them? Did you leave the old A and MX records
in DNS for legacy sake? Did you leave the old and put the
new hostname in your sendmail.cw file? Did you make changes
to majordomo.cf to reflect the new hostname? Any changes to
your hosts file?

What user are you telneting in as? Not majordomo I hope.

What happens if you send majordomo commands to the old
address? Are you sure your DNS records (A, MX, and ALIAS)
are correct?
