But I think folks on this list might have some insight.  

I have written a script to auto reply to emails and inform the sender that
the hostname has changed; the script works great.  What I'd like to do is
this:

- set up and alias on the old host to point all mail for old addreses to
  one address on my linux box and to the new address

- set the alias on the linux box to pipe all mail to that alias through my
  script so any incoming mail is processed by the script


The problem that I am having is i cannot get sendmail to pipe the mail
through the script; it keeps giving a "no recipient" error.

Is this the best way to accomplish this?  Does anyone know how to pipe
mail to a program and avoid the no recipient problem?

I noticed that Majordomo uses the pipe along with the @.resend but it
wasn't alway like this, was it?
