hi lala,

mmm, we measure the number of messages sent watching log activity.
So 'mailstats' can help you to guest the number of messages sent.

If U use sendmail with multiqueue, remember to put the several queues in
diferents disks with a controller for each disk. If you put 10 queues in the
same
disk with the same controller, probably the performance will be decreased.

best regards and merry christmas!

Thanks and thanks to all who responded!

So I'm curious how you measure how much is sent in a
given time? ie, how would I know that 50,000 out of
100,000 messages are already sent aside from looking
at the logs? Is there a tool or do I have to write a
script to do that? (I guess this is more of a sendmail
question)

By the way, I'm using sendmail 8.11.1 with multi-queue
enabled.

Thanks again,
Clara
