making some language changes

hi,

    i have already compiled and installed majordomo-1.94.4 and i would
like to make some changes in the majordomo file. How can i do it? Should
i compile into source directory and just copy the majordomo file to
current majordomo directory.
    i would like to change welcome message (traslated into spanish).

any suggestion will be pleased,
