Majordomo does not control this, your MTA does.  This has been asked many times, but is not
in the FAQ.  If you were to attempt this, you would have one message per recipient rather than just one message with all
recipients.  This could be extremely detrimental to you server's hard drive space, memory, and efficiency of your MTA.

Just turn off welcome messages.  "Welcome = no" in your listname.config file.
