The lists directory (and majordomo's home directory) are both
owned by majordomo and have rwx permissions for the user.
If majordomo couldn't write to the lists directory, then I suspect
that I'd also get errors when people tried to s_bscribe to my
lists as well. I only get errors when they try to uns_bscribe.
For what it's worth, when I get one of these errors, I notice that
a *.new file (and sometimes an L.*) gets created. The *.new and
L.* files are owned by user "mail" and have group "mail."
Again, thanks in advance for any insight,
