I'm thinking about using Majordomo to manage a notification
list. Whenever we have a new release of our product, we send
out an e-mail message that says, "it's new, it's ready, get it
wherever." From time to time, we get complaints that we didn't
send the message to some particular customer contact.

What I would like to do is insert "read-reply" and/or "return-
receipt" headers into the messages and have Majordomo stash them
away somewhere so that I can "prove" delivery of notifications.

Is this reasonable or would I be better off writing a simple mail
handler in perl? I've done it before, but I really don't have time
to devote to it. Majordomo is already available; Would it be easy
to bend Mojordomo into something that would do this?

Obviously, Majordomo has other attractive aspects, even though it
be overkill for my specific application.

Thanks, Sam
