I am trying to get Majordomo 1.94.4 running properly with Sendmail 8.11 on a
Redhat 7.0 Linux server. I am able to request config files and post updates
successfully to Majordomo and I am able to successfully subscribe /
unsubscribe from the test group I have created. When I run the wrapper
config-test program, everything checks out okay.
The problem I am having is that when I email a message to the test list I
have created, it never gets posted. When looking through the maillog file, I
see that it shows that a "DSN: Unable to deliver mail" occurs.
I have followed to the letter the O'reilly "Managing Mailing Lists" book in
creating the "haberdashers" list. I have applied the errata I found which
had some permissions changes and an aliases change, but the same error
occurs. I have many domains successfully using the sendmail server, coupled
with being able to subscribe/unsubscribe and config the lists leaves me
perplexed as to why Majordomo / Sendmail won't distribute a list posting.
I have attached my aliases file (which I rebuilt after each change) and a
copy of the maillog messages.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I feel like I'm very close, but so
far...
