Hi, Everyone,

I am new to MD, and this is my first mail.
I have been facing problem setting up majordomo v1.94.5 on my linux
machine.
OS: Redhat 6.2(zoot)
Machine: P-I, 166 MHz, 48RAM
We have a dial up connection.

I have created majordomo user and make it a member of the daemon group
I have successfully installed majordomo v1.94.5 on my machine according to
INSTALL file included in distribution. Confide-test, as different user
(other than root or majordomo) is working fine.

I have included 'OA/opt/majordomo/majordomo.aliases' line to sendmail.cf
file.
I have created lists directory in /opt/majordomo-1.94.5 directory
In lists directory, I have created a test file
I have also created a majordomo.aliases.db file in /opt/majordomo-1.94.5
directory and set permission 644 to this.

Majordomo.aliases file contain the following lines:

	majordomo: "|/opt/majordomo-1.94.5/wrapper majordomo"
	majordomo-owner: majordomo
	owner-majordomo: majordomo

	test: "|/usr/test/majordomo-1.94.5/wrapper resend -l
test test-list"
	test-list: :include:/usr/test/majordomo-1.94.5/lists/test
	owner-test: you
	test-owner: you
	test-request: you

I have tried all permission mentioned in FAQ's. Chmod 750 to ($homedir,
$listdir)

Now when I execute this command as a different user (other than root or
majordomo)

hgupta$ echo 'lists' | mail majordomo

Then I received the following error message.

hash map "Alias1": unsafe map file /opt/majordomo/majordomo.
aliases.db: World writable directory

Also I have one other problem, multiple domain problem.
As I have mentioned above that we have a dial up connection, when we fetch
our mail from our ISP's pop server through 'fetchmailrc', the mails which
were sent directly to email id at our pop server, have no problem at our
internal pop server distribution, but those mail which is directed by some
other address to email id at our pop server then fetchmailrc could not
resolve the double envelop address and mail is bounced to root user. As is
in the case of majordomo-user@greatcirle.com, mail first come to majordomo
address then is forwarded to all the members, so this mail will contain
the double envelop address and because of this, it is coming at our root
user. I know that I have written a whole story that you guys could have
understood in two lines. But this is a big problem to me now. I also tried
giving virtual domain in fetchmailrc but it didn't help. ...Help!

Please help me. What exact permission should I use in majordomo issue?
