intro

Hi MD Users- I am new to the list and have tried to answer this from the 
FAQ and archives.

The hardware is Cobalt RaQ3 with some version of RH Linux with all the 
Cobalt add ons including Majordomo.

The list works fine but when I try to replace the intro text that gets 
sent out to new members the new text is appended to the standard 
greeting, does not replace it as expected. When I look at 
/usr/local/majordomo/www.mydomain.com/lists/mylist.intro there is my new 
text but no sign of the standard intro.

My question is- How do I modify the text sent out to new members?
