Hello,
I am trying to get virtual domains to work using Majordomo and
majorcool, and seeing if you could provide some suggestions.
I have the majordomo installation in /usr/local/majordomo-1.94.5
and my lists for my domain are located in
/usr/local/majordomo-1.94.5/lists
When I setup majorcool for other sites/domains, I want it to reference
another directory which only contains the lists for the specific domain
in question.
The majordomo wrapper points to the /usr/local/majordomo-1.94.5 and no
matter how many virtual sites I setup, and specify another location, it
only shows the lists in the /usr/local/majordomo-1.94.5/lists, and not
the ones intended in the
/usr/local/majordomo-1.94.5/virtual/somesite.org
1. Do I have to setup a separate instance of majordomo for each virtual
domain? (e.g /usr/local/majrodomo-1.94.5/somesite.org, with it's own
majordomo.cf)
2. Do I have to specify a different majordomo.cf for the virtual site?
3. Is there a modification for each virtual site to be specified in the
sendmail aliases file?
The installation of where Majorcool resides appears to be pretty
forgiving, however Majordomo is what appears I am having the problem
with.
I am confused how this virtual site has to be setup to work properly
with Majordomo and Majorcool.
I attempted to send this to the author of Majorcool, however the address
does not appear to be valid any longer.
Anyone that could provide help would be very much appreciated.
Sincerely,
Bruce Keitell
