Yes and no.  You DO need a separate majordomo.cf for every virtual domain.
You WILL need entries in a sendmail virtusertable file.  You SHOULD have separate list/digest/archive directories for each domain.  You MAY use a 
single aliases file, but that will REQUIRE the use of `-C majordomodomain.cf` arguments in your lists.  

A lot of this discussion with examples and "howto" should be in the list
archive from April time frame last year.  Your sendmail must understand
and support virtual domains before you can configure majordomo to do it.
