Do you want people to be able to subscribe and unsubscribe from your
announcement list? If so, set it up as a normal Majordomo list but use
"restrict-post" to point to a file containing only your address. That way
you can post to the list, but if anyone replies it will bounce to the list
owner (you). You can then decide whether to respond off-list to the
attempted reply, or just delete the reply.
Is it to be a captive list of everyone on your system? If so, set it up
as a closed list and use restrict-post as above. Devise a script run as a
cron job to periodically update the subscriber list from the contents of
your /etc/passwd file. (Or simply run the script manually before you post
an announcement).
