Dear All,

I am running Majordomo 1.94.5 on Redhat 7.0 with Sendmail

I cannot for the life of me figure it out but I always get errors when
e-mails are submitted to the list that follow the following format:

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
/usr/majordomo/archive/listname/listname
(reason: can't create (user) output file)
    (expanded from: listname-archive)

----- Transcript of session follows -----
Message delivered to mailing list listname-archive
Message delivered to mailing list listname-outgoing
550 5.0.0 /usr/majordomo/archive/listname/listname... Can't create output

I have tried all different manor of rights and ownership for this and it
still doesn't work. Finally, last night I deleted the
/usr/majordomo/archive/listname/listname file and sent in a message. The
listname file was created automatically and the text from the message was
inserted. Hallehlujah! Until... the next day, after having made no
changes, I got the same errors again. Since then it hasn't worked. So it
only worked for the one message. Everything else works fine.

Any Ideas?

Thanks,

Jack Handy
