I left out some stuff I should have included in my last post so here it is.
Also to clarify, this is not a problem with files in the listname.archive
directory that I can access with a "get" command, this problem concerns
writing copies of all e-mails submitted to the list to the
/usr/majordomo/archive directory.
Here are the rights on the directory structure
drwx-r-xr-x majordom.daemon /usr/majordomo
-rwSr-xr-x root.mail /usr/majordomo/wrapper
drwx-r-xr-x majordom.daemon /usr/majordomo/archive
drwx-r-xr-x mail.mail /usr/majordomo/archive/listname
rw------ mail.mail
/usr/majordomo/archive/listname/listname
